So is Seattle!
before i get to the gig i need to prop out to the folks at EMP, the Experience Music Project in Seattle. these kind folks comp'ed Carl and i into the museum, gave us a guided tour and then, if that was not enough, gifted us with 6 comps for SFM, the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame!
short story was that EMP had given the festival a frightening amount of comps for the artists.
we were there on day 3 of the festival and NOBODY had come in. they were glad to have us in to look around, even had Carl sign up as a visitor for comments and suggestions as well as their ability to say "Carl Harvey from Toots and the Maytals has been our guest".

the gig...
pro rig, pro folks, awesome sound, untold amounts of people there...(pix when there is high speed again...i think the installation of an abbreviation is in order... we will call the delay for photos "PWHS"... look for it in the future....)
downside was the guest list was too too small.. could not have friends come in for the gig. also some of the security were a bit shitty.. got told i had to be "in the crowd" rather than stand in the wings after our performance by a young kid with a STAFF shirt.. held up my all access pass and informed him he was out of line, went where i pleased anyhow..
some things slip thru the cracks.. i guess you cannot have all your staff tuned in all the time, especially the new, young ones...
