what other peaceful, joyous event can bring thousands of multi-cultured
and diverse peoples together to one central location ?
in this case, 10,000 or more, when the festival was only expecting 6000
or so. the largest turn out in the festival's short but successful lifetime!

MIDAS F.O.H., EAW /Crown mains (sweet, clear and punchy,
Allen-Heath Monitor. console,mixture of Peavey and Yorkville boxes..
i was surprised! pleasantly! the mon rig worked out rather well.
the only thing nasty about the gig was the plastic "shell" covering the stage.
it would be ok for quieter, acoustic music... but it worked out.

the city officials presented Toots with an appreciation award on stage,
right there in the midst of his show! how very cool!

the show got stopped at 11:10. the city wanted it over at 11:00!
not too shabby!
